Letter to the Parish: Coronavirus Loss

Dear Sacred Heart Families,

Blessings to you and your families during this unprecedented and difficult time. COVID-19 is a global pandemic that has truly stretched around the world, affecting people globally – including our own Sacred Heart community.

I’m reaching out today to ask that you continue to pray for our own parishioners who have been impacted. Sadly, this week one of our own long-time and active parishioners, Rocky Ursino, passed away from COVID-19. Many of you knew Rocky as someone who was generous to a fault, with his time and his resources. He attended the Saturday 5pm Mass, and nine times out of ten, he was the facilitator, checking in the liturgical ministers, a position that he loved to do, and he was good at it. ? (read more)
